Welcome to mywebsite.

My site deals with my life as an army wife in the late 1960's with 208 SignalSquadron at Terendak Camp, near Melaka in Malaysia. I have met some old acquaintances who have sent me pictures to include on the site and have revived memories of my time there. As a result the site is changing almost daily.

2nd January 2010.... I sincerely hope that you have all had a good time despite the weather. The snow and ice ruined a trip to Wythenshawe for a meal at my older daughter and to leave presents for my grandson.  Christmas Day wasn't too bad and  2 grandma's and a granddad went over to my other daughters for lunch.

Tony, Ernie and I tried to have a conference call on Skype but it was abit of a disaster. My Skype is not very good and there is back ground noise I am told all the time. Ocker came on as well but I only heard him say a couple of words.  What a pity. I will have to get it sorted.

On the 31st January I fly out to spend 6 weeks with my son in Singapore and I feel that I have to get away from this cold. It is snowing again this morning so we are really having awful times here.

17th January...Nothing much happening to me at the moment but come the 31st January.  I will be off, up and away to the East Coast of Singapore to a place called Siglap. My son will turn 40 while I am there so we hope to get off somewhere for his birthday. Also it is Chinese New Year so he has a week off work.

My knee is a little better but this exercising seems to be an on-going thing. It is more painful when I am not able to get out and walk, and with the snow I have been a prisoner really. There is a gym in the condo where I am staying so I may take advantage of the treadmill or some other torture machine.
