Question - what is a sticky thread? Ans They are termed sticky cos they are stuck at the top of the list (with the pin) - their own sub list as it were.

Question - why are some threads made sticky? Ans To keep frequently used, and/or currently pertinent threads 'in your face' particularly while we are getting used to using the MB

All good?

Then this might be the same question that Pam asked you earlier (I recall seeing something about "sticky threads" but didn't read the detail), so apologies for repetition, but what's a sticky thread?

The top 3 threads are termed 'Sticky' threads. they will always be shown in date order at the top of the Thread list. All other threads appear below the sticky threads in date order.

Is there some particular reason the top 3 posts are shown in a different colour and with pins?
